Embrace and explore whatever comes on your path
About Tjitske
Since my teenage years vulnerable conversations about spirituality have been a big part of my life. This started in the contemplative community of Taizé in France when I was barely 16 and has continued ever since. These days I call myself an Interfaith Mystic, for me that means that the Divine is everywhere and in everything, and the more mystic traditions and experiences I have, the more spiritual connection I am feeling.
I identify as neurodivergent and practice my companioning with that lens. I often include different ways of working with our bodies and minds to keep ourselves engaged and open. I also bring my queerness to any table I am part of, which represents inclusivity, openness and a mindset of always learning. I am well versed in people with non conforming gender and/or sexual identities, ethical non-monogamy and polyamory, and always gaining new insights from fellow people that bend the norm.
I hold a bachelors and masters degree in Health Sciences, a certificate in youth and theology from Princeton Theological Seminary, and a certificate in Interfaith Spiritual Direction from The Chaplaincy Institute.
I live with my spouse (they/them) with whom I am in a loving and always evolving marriage, and we have a three year old child who makes me look at the world with renewed awe and wonder.

Spiritual Companioning
What is the goal of these sessions?
My goal for every session is to create a vulnerable and safe space together to explore what is happening in your life. Maybe you are experiencing a need for more focus on what you want? Or you struggle to see the joy in your life? Are you grieving? Wanting to embrace life more fully?
I would love to companion you in this through deep listening, curiosity and reflection. In our 50 minute session I will hold sacred space so we can listen and discern what is happening in your body and mind.
What does a session look like?
That depends on you! Typically sessions are 50 minutes, and around bi-weekly or monthly depending on your needs. There is a lot of flexibility around the length and frequency of our sessions. I am available online and in-person in Saratoga, CA.
I am open to a variety of practices and exercises depending on your path, beliefs and needs. We can sit and chat with some tea, we can create something, we can do an exercise, we can move our bodies, we can go on a walk together, and I might suggest something to do in between our sessions. This sacred time is all yours.
Pricing
My 50 minute sessions are between $55 and $75, you are free to pay what feels right for you. Please reach out if money is a hindrance to take part in this sacred work. I welcome donations so more people have access to sessions.
Pricing for longer sessions, group sessions, special session that take more preparations are case by case. I would love to talk to you about that!
